Megan Smith
CEO, Symbia Logistics
Considered a pioneer in the logistics industry, Megan has been working in this field since she was a child. Growing up, she worked on a warehouse floor and has started multiple businesses since. She is currently the CEO of Symbia, a third party distribution warehouse company, and leads over 1,300 associates across the U.S. Megan considers Symbia to be a “complement to Amazon”, through the company’s ability to provide higher-end services with more customization and to handle special orders.
Amber Okoye
VP Supply Chain and CPO, General Dynamics
With an accomplished career as a supply chain professional, Amber currently serves as the Vice President of General Dynamics, the fifth-largest aerospace and defense company. She is highly skilled in business and operational strategies including outsourcing, operations consolidations, organizational development, budget/cost management, manufacturing, engineering, and customer service. Amber applied her expertise to achieving supply chain resiliency after the damage the industry experienced due to COVID-19.
Jacquelyn Howard
As Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Starbucks, Jacqueline leads the end-to-end supply chain strategy and planning for the company’s food supply chain. A talented leader in the supply chain industry, possessing over 30 years of experience, Jacquelyn has completely transformed Starbuck’s U.S. and China supply chain systems into strategic and effective pieces of the business. She previously worked for McDonalds in its supply chain sector. Jacquelyn received the McDonald’s Women’s Leadership and the Eagle Leadership awards, and under her leadership her team received the Global Leadership Board Excellence Award, Asia Pac Middle East, and the Africa Gold Standard Awards.

Executive Director, MIT MicroMasters
Research scientist, executive director, and research leader, Eva has an impressive background in the field of supply chain. She currently oversees the online MITx Supply Chain Management (SCx) courses, which make up the MicroMasters program. She also directs a research lab that focuses on circular supply chains, reverse logistics and closed-loop supply chains. Eva has written over ten publications and has been nominated for several awards. Her research team received the Irwin Sizer Award for the ‘Most Significant Improvement to MIT Education’ in 2018.

Best known for her popular podcast “Let’s Talk Supply Chain,” Sarah is an accomplished entrepreneur and CEO of Shipz. She says supply chain is “in her blood”, and believes she developed an interest growing up with a family involved in the industry. Passionate about creating value and reducing the struggles of freight shipping, Sarah currently works as CEO at Shipz, an online transportation booking platform for international freight movements and a supply chain ecosystem. She has been awarded among the “Top 21 Women in Supply Chain” by IBM and Supply Chain Digital, the “Top 10 Influencers in Supply Chain 2020”, the “Top 100 Women Leaders”, and “Canadian Women in Supply Chain”. Sarah is also passionate about diversity and inclusion and created another podcast called “Blended Podcast” to raise awareness on this topic.
Rosemary Coates

Management consultant, author, and expert witness, Rosemary has multifaceted experience in the field of supply chain. In 2008 she founded Blue Silk Consulting, a management consulting company for global supply chain and manufacturing companies. She now serves as president of Blue Silk, and has consulted with over 80 global and domestic clients. Rosemary is also the author of five supply chain books, “42 Rules for Sourcing and Manufacturing in China”, “42 Rules for Superior Field Service,” “The Reshoring Guidebook,” and “Legal Blacksmith – How to Avoid and Defend Supply Chain Disputes.” In addition to these accomplishments, Rosemary also serves as an expert witness in legal cases involving global supply chain and China imports.

For over thirty years, Lauren, the Founder of Baker Logistics and Consulting, which provides clients with international transportation, logistics, and customs compliance services, has helped shippers and logistics companies steer through the challenges of international shipping.
